BETHESDA HOLISTIC CENTER MASSAGE THERAPIST CODE OF ETHICS
All of our therapists at Bethesda Holistic Center are independent contractors. Bethesda Holistic Center provides behavioral guidelines to all of its employees. All specialists at Bethesda Holistic Center are obliged to follow the standard Code of Ethics set by the industry and described by the American Massage Therapy Association AMTA, National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork NCBTMB and Code of Maryland Regulations COMAR
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session. Arriving earlier to your appointment allows our therapists to learn any necessary information about your well-being and consider all given information in your appointment (Client Intake form). In case if you arrive late to your appointment, your session time could be shortened depending on the appointments following yours and you will be responsible for the full-service fee.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION OR RE-SCHEDULING
We require a 24-hour notice In the event that you need to reschedule your
appointment. This will make the appointment time available to someone else.

*A 60-minute session includes 50 minutes of hands-on service and 10 minutes for consultation and dressing. A 90-minute session includes 80 minutes of hands-on service and 10 minutes for consultation and dressing. A 30-minute session includes 25-minutes of hands-on time and 5-minutes of consultation, which occurs pre and post service.
CODE OF CONDUCT AND PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Therapists at Bethesda Holistic Center keep the right to refuse a service to anyone.
Massage sessions at Bethesda Holistic Center are strictly non-intimate. Any statements or actions of such sort will result in an immediate termination of client’s session and the client will be obliged to pay the full-service fee. Law enforcement will be noticed in case staff deems in necessary. The client will be banned from receiving any services at Bethesda Holistic Center permanently.
Any inappropriate actions and/or use of tobacco, alcohol, drugs or other substances will result in termination of the session and this will result in client being banned from receiving any services at Bethesda Holistic Center permanently as well.
Bethesda Holistic Center accepts types of payment such as Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, American Express, Diners Club, JCB . Payments for the session are due before any professional services are provided to the client.
If a client arrives for an appointment with any signs or/and symptoms of sickness that oppose therapeutic services (fever, contagious rash or infection, strong cough, etc.), the appointment will be rescheduled to protect both the client(s) and the therapist.
Massage at Bethesda Holistic Center serves as a tool to improve the client’s well-being and in no way, it serves as an alternative to professional medical treatment.
